PrimeView Player ("we", "us", or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our mobile and desktop application ("App").

1. No Content Hosting

PrimeView Player does not host, store, distribute, or transmit any media content. The App connects exclusively to media servers that you configure and own. We have no access to, knowledge of, or control over the content you stream through the App.

2. Information We Collect

We collect the minimum information necessary to provide the App's features:

• Account credentials — your media server URL, username, and password are stored securely on your device using Apple's Keychain and are used solely to connect to your server.
• App preferences — settings such as playback preferences, subtitle choices, and display options are stored locally on your device.
• Watch history — your viewing history is stored locally on your device to enable resume and recommendations. It is not transmitted to us.
• Crash reports — if the App crashes, anonymised diagnostic information may be sent to our crash reporting service to help us improve stability. This data contains no personal identifiers or media content.

3. Information We Do Not Collect

• We do not collect your name, email address, or contact information unless you contact our support team.
• We do not track your viewing habits, watch history, or media preferences on our servers.
• We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for advertising or marketing purposes.
• We do not use your data to serve advertisements.

4. Third-Party Services

The App uses the following third-party services:

• Apple Speech Recognition — used only when you activate voice search. Audio is processed by Apple and subject to Apple's Privacy Policy.
• Crash reporting — anonymised crash data is collected to improve App stability. No personal data or media content is included.

5. Data Security

Your media server credentials are stored using Apple's Keychain, which provides hardware-level encryption on all supported devices. We do not transmit your credentials to our servers.

6. Children's Privacy

PrimeView Player is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
